Course Structure
Day 1 10am -3 pm
Theoretical part with practical Manicure
Health, safety & hygiene, nail anatomy and physiology, client consultation
techniques, contra-indications to the treatments, record keeping, professional
ethics, organising of your work station, tool and product introduction, manicure
procedures, hand massage, after care advice.
Day 2 10am -4pm
Fibreglass and Silk -tool and product introduction, nail preparation, application
and removal of the product, after care advice.
Introduction to Acrylic Extensions- tool and products involved, nail preparation,
practice of clear overlay, French with white and pink acrylic, encapsulation nail art
techniques, maintenance, after care advice, removal technique.
Day 3 10am -4pm
Acrylic Extensions–practice on real hands. Nail preparation, tipping and blending,
sculpting technique and application of product –student choice if French or nail art.
Gel Polish Manicure and Gel Polish Nail Art–tool and product introduction, nail
preparation, application and removal of the product, after care advice, beautiful nail
art designs to master.
Introduction to UV Gel Extensions- tool and products involved, nail preparation,
practice of clear overlay, French with white and pink gel, encapsulation nail art
techniques, maintenance, after care advice, removal technique.
Day 5 10am -4pm
UV Gel Extensions–practice on real hands. Nail preparation, tipping and blending,
sculpting technique and application of product –student choice if French or nail art.
